Pooh Learns How Bees Make Honey in Denver

Advantages: Well planned and laid out with great diversity
Disadvantages: I can imagine it would be a bit sparce in the depths of winter

As a Brit, I'm unashamedly and probably unjustifiably confident in believing that we do big gardens better than anyone else anywhere in the world. We don't have all THAT much to show off or feel superior about these days but I do think we lead the world in garden design and creativity. One year I took my parents and my sister and her partner to a major international garden exhibition in Holland and we strutted around feeling horribly superior about the pitiful national gardening exhibits of our European neighbours. We are blessed of course with fabulously awful weather that favours gardens (i.e. lots of rain) and with a national obsession with green stuff. Every Friday night BBC 2 shows back to back gardening programmes. It's sad but almost true. Our garden of course is a weed-ridden disgrace with more moss than grass but despite that ...

Denver, Gateway to the Rockies :)

Advantages: modern, rarely closed/snowed in, easy access, good range of rental cars
Disadvantages: many rental vehicles off-airport, long term parking uncovered

Denver International Airport, often described as a Bedhouin encampment in the Colorado plains. A modern effiecently laid out airport which handles the huge volume of skiers and skis with ease. Despite being just a couple of easy hours driving from some of the best champagne powder in the world, has only been closed by bad weather twice in its history. A well conceived toll road system whisks those unfamiliar with the area past the snarled traffic of Denver, and straight to the million dollar highway up to the Rockies... you'll be in the foothills within an hour. A light rail system is planned in the near future to connect passengers with the centre of Denver and the railway/ski-train. The airport has the usual range of food malls and shops - everything from burger king to souvenirs and coffee. The facilities are clean ...

Belfast International Airport

Advantages: Internet, Cheap car parking
Disadvantages: Can get boring after 18 hours

Belfast International Airport (Belfast Aiport) I flew out of belfast airport around four years ago, when I did fly out of the airport it was a bad time to fly out. The day before we where to depart to orlando the shoe bomber came on the scene! So the airport secuirty was put up. But the airline I was travelling with most of their planes had Technical difficuilties. So I was delayed for 30 hours and had to stay in the Hilton over night. So I should be able to tell you enough about it as I was in it for 24 hours. Area... The Belfast airport isn't in belfast, it is closer to Antrim a city near belfast. The airport is around 12 or 13 miles away from Belfast. So I don't know why they called it Belfast International Airport. But there is a hotel beside the airport. So if you have a early flight and you coudn't be bothered to get up ...
