The City Inn, Glasgow is located at Finnieston Quay, Glasgow, G3 8HN. For anyone unfamiliar with Glasgow this is an area that has been redeveloped in recent years, and is home to the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre. The area has the feel of somewhere on the up, with big businesses (like SMG) and developments all over, although its not totally there yet, and I'd compare it to the London Docklands 5-10 years ago before all the shops and businesses had moved in.
I now work quite a bit out of our Glasgow office, and so will be staying in Glasgow on a regular basis. The main body of this review covers the first time I stayed there, during mid January 06, with a slight amendment based on my stay last night (7th February)

Advantages: Close to Disneyland Parks, Village and Bus and Train Stations Disadvantages: Around 27 miles from central Paris

Reached by a free pink shuttle bus {no.54} of which runs every 10-15 minutes stopping at hotels my travel explorers, Hotel Kyriad, Movenpick Dream Castle and Holiday Inn.
The Holiday Inn Hotel itself is very clean and has a small shop selling gifts and phonecards, check in was easy and very quick.
We stayed in room 3303 of which was a very large double bed, very clean and tidy. As we stayed here for our honeymoon for 11 nights the room was cleaned and the bed made with fresh linen everyday.There was even a complimentery bowl of fruit waiting for us in our room.
The food however at the hotel is expensive and not very good in the evening, my husband however said that the breakfast was excellent.
There is also an ice machine...

In the past I stayed at the LaQuinta hotel at the Ontario airport in California. There I had the most wonderful stay. I told a friend about it and because of that he stayed at the LaQuinta in Santa Rosa New Mexico and had a very pleasant stay as well. Those experiences moved the LaQuinta chain clearly up on our lists of hotel-preferences. That's also why I booked the LaQuinta again in Manhattan.
Accessibility.
The hotel is very close to a number of subway stations, which makes it very accessible.
Room:
I had a room with a queen-size bed. The room was about 5 x 5 meters, which I consider the minimum. I come from Europe where hotel-rooms are often smaller. If this is the minimum for me, then I expect it to be too small for most Americans. The bathroom was 3 x 1.5 meters, which I found too small. The room had one...
