Advantages: in picturesque part of rome Disadvantages: none
...This restaurant is the oldest in Rome dating back to 1632 in the most ancient part of Rome-Trastevere.it was built originally underground because of its proximity to the river.Building began to bring it to ground level in 1700 and took 100 years to complete..it is full of character and the orginal restaurant is in the cellar where the well is situated and is now a museum for visitors. We dined here on Christmas Eve in 2004.When other restaurants were charging high prices we ate here(six adults and 2 children )including a complimentary bottle of champagne and the bill was just 170 Euros .The welcome we got was incredible and we were also serenaded by the owners,It is magic and well worth a visit.Admittedly my daughter-in-law is Italian so the language was not a problem but it's a must....

...The imperial palace is the best building in the world , it is so big and menacing . Rome is a very picturesque city with beautiful venues and people!!!!!! The best way to travel around Rome is on moped , it gives u a better view and feel of the city. The vatican is absoulutely amazing , how can one man michaelangelo do such good artwork in one lifetime a true great .
Rome is also an exceptional place to shop, the amount of quality shops like diesel , gucci are just amazing. All of the people are very friendly and very organised . The best place to eat in Rome value for money is probably spizzico or Damiano's pizza place absoulutely fantastic.
ROME A MUST FOR ALL PEOPLE...

If you have time to spare after that a trip to the leafy areas of northern Rome such as the Villa Borghese, the largest park in Rome, is an interesting foray, as would be a brief visit to the spa town of Fiuggi, about one hour's journey from the city centre.
The Vatican area across the Tiber, directly west of downtown Rome, is reached by subway A line, get...
