San Pellegrino in plastic bottles

Advantages: none
Disadvantages: not a good move to change from glass to plastic

I love San Pellegrino mineral water, I agree with the previous reviewer. It is light and refreshing and not at all gassy. My only gripe is that I used to be able to buy it in large, glass bottles but for some ridiculous reason (certainly not a green one) I can only find the larger sizes in nasty plastic bottles. Were I to buy teeny bottles of San Pellegrino, I would have the pleasure of glass but I don't want a teeny bottle, I want a great big bottle to put on my dinner table! Why, oh why have they changed to plastic? I didn't buy the water for a long time after the change, but now I have sneaked it back onto my shopping list. I am concerned, though, as, apart from the recycling point-of-view, I am sure it is less healthy to buy water in plastic bottles as the chemicals can leach into the water. 5 stars for the water but 0 stars ...

Salute!

Advantages: Water is always good for you!
Disadvantages: This one can be expensive.

over it (just in case you missed the main label!). The silver twisty cap is silver in colour and has a bright red star on top, their logo as mentioned earlier on. The style of the printing and the way the labels are, has been the same since I was a little girl and doing an online research I also have found a labeld which dates back to 1954 which looks almost the same as today's one. You may appreciate though that things do change with time so the contents/residues list changed according to the results of the strict chimical tests they go through every couple of years. JUST A BIT OF HISTORY (Giusto un pochino di storia) ---------- San Pellegrino Terme (San Pellegrino Baths) is a town situated in the valley of Bergamasca, called "La Valle Brembana", it takes the name from the Brembo river which flows along this territory ...

First Term At Malory Towers : Give this to your little girls!

Advantages: Very readable, enjoyable, imaginative, contains some sensible & good philosophies
Disadvantages: The modern versions of the books are altered to make them politically correct

The set of Malory Towers books was written by Enid Blyton during the post-WW2 part of the 1940s?.I think the final one may have spilled over into 1950. They tell the story of pupil Darrel Rivers? time at the school, from her very first day as a 13-year-old, through to her last, when she leaves at age 18. I read my first Enid Blyton Malory Towers book when I was aged about 9. We?d had a bring & buy sale at my primary school as an end of term activity, and I managed to cop a paperback edition of the 3rd book in the series for the grand sum of one old halfpenny! Later in the evening when at home and in bed (I was supposed to be asleep), I began to read Third Year At Malory Towers, and just couldn?t put the book down ? I read it from cover to cover that night, in secret by torchlight under the blankets, and the next day my mother ...
