Italian Restaurant on the shores of Loch Lomond

Advantages: Quality food, bustling atmosphere
Disadvantages: Can get overcrowded

La Scarpetta, Balloch Road, Balloch, Loch Lomond, Scotland G83 8SS, Tel 01389 758 247, is a traditional Italian Restaurant situated near the banks of Loch Lomond.

.../> I would happily reccoment La Scarpetta to anyone visiting Loch Lomond, not simply because it is the only restaurant of its type in the area, but because of the quality of the food, and the wonderful atomsphere can only lead to a great night out. Enjoy yourselves!!!

Quick review of La Scarpetta, Balloch, Loch Lomond

My experience of dining at the fabulous La Scarpetta was just that FABULOUS!!! My main course was a succulent baked sea bass with lemon and herbs which just melted in my mouth, it was also accompanied with some rosemary and garlic roasted potatoes. The staff were very friendly and attentive, to be honest i can't say a bad thing about the place, the food was so good i had to thank the chef Riccardo personally with a handshake and a glass of red. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone. pz ...
