My favourite branch of La Tasca is on Deansgate in Manchester, it’s just like stepping into a real Spanish tavern (‘La Tasca’ means the tavern), ... ...suit our lifestyle. At La Tasca the idea is to order lots of tiny little dishes depending on how hungry you are. Apparently most people order 2-3 dishes each, my boyfriend & I always have 7 dishes plus garlic bread, last time we went they put us on a tiny table for two and we could barely fit everything on the table. 7 might sound a lot but last time we tried mushrooms with posh cheese on and got 5 mushrooms!

...LaTasca is a chain of Tapas restaurants that aim for an intimate atmosphere combined with friendly service and reasonably priced food.
I've beeen going to the LaTasca in Manchester (Deansgate) for quite a while, however, it took me 2 years before I realsied that there was one in Liverpool (near Paradise street bus station),where I live... Doh!
I've now been to the Liverpool one quite a few times and have found it to be inferior to the one in Manchester in only one respect, the Manchester branch seems more intimate. The reason for this is that the Manchester one is iunderneath an officeblock so out of necessity has no windows and so is completely candle lit.
However, apart from this one point I have found the food and friendliness of service to be consistant.
One thing that disappointed me on visiting the Liverpool branch...
