La Tasca in Covent Garden is probaly one of the best of the La Tasca's in London. Although, I have to say, they are all good. This one just has a special something in the atmosphere provided by the wonderful waiters and waitresses that will do anything to make your meal enjoyable.
I have eaten here many times and never had a bad meal. The food is consistantly wonderful and the menu is so varied that you can have something different everytime that you go. Set out on three levels, with a large bar area to the front this restaurant offers plenty of seating so that you rarely have to wait. Although if you know you are going there it is worth booking.
You can also eat here as part of the theatre meal deals from time to time which offers you the choice of three dishes, a glass of wine or a soft drink and then the show (last minute)! All for between £20 and £30 - what a bargain!
I highly reccomend the Patatas Bravas when you do go. A rich tomato sauce over mouthwateringly fluffy potatoes! Delicious.
Enjoy!
