The rooms are very nice furnished and well equipped. The room rates are quite expensive though. You pay for at least 4* stars without having a pool, wellness area, etc.. If you are

is for sure a ... ...favorite part of Marbella was la villa marbella. Marcos, the gentleman that runs the hotel , and his staff were unbeleivably helpful and took great customer service to a whole new level.
There is a great little terrace upstairs for afternoon drinks, free access to a computer, and basically just taking it easy. The room & the Inn was immaculate with updated state of the art bathroom fixtures & lighting.

We stayed at this property in late April and had a fantastic time. We had read in our travel book on Spain not to expect much from the Marbella area and had it not been for my attraction to this hotel we very well may have passed on the area. I am so glad we did not.
Marbella has a beautiful little old city and a pleasant strech of beach, along with superb restaurants. However, our favorite part of Marbella was la villa marbella. Marcos, the gentleman that runs the hotel , and his staff were unbeleivably helpful and took great customer service to a whole new level.

The rooms were lovely - simply decorated but with everything you could wish to find including chocolates on your pillow every night! The breakfasts, enjoyed on the roof terrace overlooking the mourntains, set you up for the rest of the day and the choice of fresh fruit salad, yoghurts, cereals and a wonderful assortments of breads are second to none. The wide range of TV channels and available internet access were a special feature.
The sattelite television had all the BBC and ITV channels, including Cbeebies and CBBC.
Beautiful breakfasts were spread out for us (they serve until 1pm!) that we had personally chosen the evening before. We had choices of various baked goods, meats, cheeses, fruit salads, yogurts, cereals, and morning beverages! Marcos and his staff are WONDERFUL! Greeted us personally in the morning, offered suggestions for the city, and were absolutely warm and welcoming in every way! They made us feel like we were "home"!!
We felt completely taken care of from the minute we entered the Villa, and it continued to feel like we were visiting a close friend's place, instead of staying at a hotel.
The Villa and the Cottage offer a level of elegance and comfort usually only found in five star hotels. Set within the heart of Marbella Old Town (which is incredibly quaint) you'll be spoilt for excellent places to dine and drink. The local bus services are excellent and can take you virtually anywhere you want to go along the Costa del Sol.
Service from every member of the team is attentive, polite and personal. There is nothing more they could do to make your stay more pleasureable.
Whilst we were there we took the opportunity to visit Marcos's latest exciting project ,Marbella Heights, a stunning 5 suite Beverley Hills type villa situated in an elevated position about 3 Km from Marbella town centre. This place is going to be truly exceptional when it opens its doors to guests shortly. It has a lovely pool and panoramic views in all directions, sea and mountains.
The hotel is a pleasant 5 to 10 minutes walk away from the beach and the kid's play area on the beach.
Staying in old town Marbella was magical. The narrow cobblestone streets are only wide enough for 1 car, the restaurants and shops are all close by to La Villa Marbella as is the church and the Flamenco bar and restaurant. Marcos also has a driver with a new Mercedes who drove us up the mountains to Ronda, a beautiful and unique town. The price is very reasonable but you can also take public transportation such as the bus or the taxi to tool around town in when you get tired of walking.
Cost for a weeks stay at La Villa Marbella is about £560 for 2 people.
