Our first time visit to the Algarve although we have travelled to many areas of Europe. Lagos is a small town steeped in history and surrounded by wonderful,clean beaches. The people were very friendly and anxious to supply any helpful information. The family agreed to try a different restaurant every day and we could not fault any in Lagos. The weather is sublime, with a breeze off the sea that prevented us from melting in the heat. Although we went in June we were supprised how quiet it was with plenty of room to spread out on the beaches. You choose whether you want a quiet or chaotic holiday, we went for peace and quiet and got it. The streets were safe to walk at night and we were not made aware of trouble. Will travel there anytime, wonderful!
