best weekend break in idialic setting

Me and my partner stayed at this hotel last weekend and the whole experience was superb from start to finish.we had booked here as we were getting married on sat 22 august.my 1st impression of the hotel when we arrived was AMAZING! ...that they were upgrading us from our executive room to a fantastic suite.are suite was absolutely gorgeous with modern decor and a newly fitted bathroom suite with shower and bath.the view from our room was breathtaking.you could see straight to the lake and watch the boats come and go.if you looked down you could see the roof top terrace bar were you can have afternoon tea and other drinks.the staff who work at this hotel literally could not do ...

Both myself and my fiance love the lake district and have stayed at many hotels with many different star ratings. Last year we got engaged whilst staying at this hotel which was fantastic but was also marred by small but continous problems. On our first night at the hotel, we were tired and decided to order room service rather than go to the restaurant. We ordered soup and sandwiches. We expected some sort of reparation for this like free drinks or for this to be deducted from the bill, we received nothing, not even a sorry. Lovely Hotel In The Heart Of Ambleside

Advantages: Location, pool, nice rooms, excellent food, excellent service
Disadvantages: None that spring to mind

...were given one of the best rooms, but I can honestly say it was very nice. It was a twin room which we wouldn't normally go for but it was the only one available with a large balcony for the dog so we made do. It was a decent size room and quite tastefully decorated with plenty of storage and wardrobe space and the beds were very comfortable. ...Everything was clean. The best bit was the log fires especially the one in the hotel foyer that we hogged all night one night.
