I visited Borneo and KualaLumpur last year and being a massive fan of animals, myself and my boyfriend visited all the animal related attractions. One of these was the KualaLumpur Bird Park.
Where Is It?
KualaLumpur Bird Park is situated in the LakeGardens area of KualaLumpur which is close to the Orchid Gardens and the Tun Abdul Razek Memorial. The bird park is a little bit out of the main town in KualaLumpur as we did try to follow a map and find our way there on foot but after getting lost and asking a couple of locals which way we needed to go, they told us we would be better getting a taxi. So get a taxi we did and good job too because it was about a 15-20 minute journey to the Bird Park. The LakeGardens area where the Bird Park is situated also have many other attractions such as The Deer Park, Orchid & Hibiscus Garden ...
Advantages: Modern, Clean, Luxurious. Great price! Disadvantages: Having to say goodbye. Too much choice for food!

The Room
Hilton KualaLumpur is one of the city?s largest hotels and is a full service hotel catering for every need for the leisure or business traveler.
They have a number of different room categories from standard, executive and suite.
Executive and Suite rooms also have access to the executive lounge, which I shall elaborate on more later. All rooms either overlook the city on one side or the lakegardens on the other. Either way you can be sure of a stunning view.
My room had views out over the lakegardens, giving a brilliant aspect.
Now back to my suite?..

Advantages: Cheapest 5 star property in KL. Excellent western property. Great facilities and staff. Disadvantages: Not as fresh as other 5* properties but at this price, who cares??!

A good 4* hotel room could be as cheap as £15 a night! I soon decided to investigate this further and look at what you could actually get for your £ in this amazing city.
When I lived in Malaysia I lived about 1hr from KualaLumpur in a small town. On the weekends KL is where it was ?at? so I soon began staying in hotels there for the weekend. My first foray into the KL hotel scene was with the Renaissance, a good western brand that is part of the Marriott group.
