Aquarium Of The Lakes, Lakeside, Ulverston

The aquarium of the lakes was somewhere we visited recently on holiday. We had gone to Lakeside and taken a boat trip to Bowness and on our return our son asked if we could go in so we went in for a visited. We were all a little disappointed by the visited so this will be one of my less positive reviews. One of my favourite places in the UK has to be the Lake District, and I have been there on holiday on numerous occasions. On our last visit, we decided to visit the Aquarium of the Lakes, which is situated at the southern end of Lake Windermere, near the small village of Newby Bridge. The aquarium has changed its name since it was listed here on Ciao, and is now simply known as the Lakes Aquarium. It is very easy to reach, as it is signposted for many miles on all approach routes. The Aquarium of the Lakes is based at the Southern end of Windermere at Lakeside, Newby Bridge. Directions Reaching the Aquarium by road is easy enough, from the M6 motorway you follow the A590 to Newby Bridge, then from there you’ll need to follow the Hawkshead road, but don’t worry there are plenty of brown tourist signs to follow. I have lived in Cumbria for many years now and I have never visited the Aquarium of the lakes, until recently. It was my nephews birthday and he really wanted to visit, which is something that also pleased me as I had been meaning to visit for a long while now. ADMISSION PRICES Adult £5.75 Child £3.75 with a money off voucher obtained for a local news artical. I thought this was very reasonable, and I was told that I could have made a further saving if I had purchased a combined Aquarium and Boat ticket.
