There were also some tables and chairs in the reception area with some powerpoints scattered around, and I saw quite a few people on laptops. Apparently, the hotel has WiFi, but I think you have to pay. I also noticed a couple of computers in the corner of the lobby but I never got the chance to use them. I think the deal was that they were free, as long as you asked reception for the log in details. There is also a business centre, which I believe had the rudimentary elements necessary for business people, but I didn't have a look there.
OVERALL IMPRESSIONS:
Overall, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. This is because I feel that is doesn't adequately fill the gap between budget hostels and guesthouses, and luxury hotels. If you're looking for cheap accommodation, then you'd be better off ...

Last summer I spent a few months working in and around Munich running english speaking summer camps for children. Great fun but very stressful. As I result we ended up staying in many different hostels and guesthouses in the area, including this one. This is the one that we spent most time in. We had our training week here and as I was working in the city centre for my first 2 weeks, stayed then aswell. We also kept popping back during the rest of our stay!!!
LOCATION
The hostel is fairly easy to find although its not as centrally located as some of the other hostels. Once you get to the main station (Hauptbahnhof) you get on either the U1 or the U7 train to Rotkreutzplatz which I believe is the third stop along from the Hauptbahnhof. handicapped people in the streets, I only noticed two wheelchairs in one week.
The city is not very dirty, some parts of London are dirtier, road sweepers are busy everywhere. We heard that for ten years the aspect of the city has constantly been improved, tanneries have been moved away from he Golden Horn which is a dead end stretch of water by which the quality of the water has been improved considerably.
Our hotel was in the quarter Laleli (Lah - la -lee), why itīs not called Little Russia I donīt know. There are Russian speaking people everywhere, the shopkeepers, the touts, the taxi drivers, the staff in the restaurant, they all speak Russian to a certain extent, all the shops and hotels in the area have Russian speaking staff, the writing is in Russian.
