Advantages: Food and Shopping paradise Disadvantages: Pollution is quite bad
..., or high tea at Mandarin Oriental, Central, if you have the budget.
For Japanese, try Genki sushi with the conveyor belt, or ramen shops for Japanese noodles, but there are numerous Japanese restaurants of very high quality. Cheap alternatives are available in Mongkok and Wanchai.
Try the unique Hong Kong style steakhouses which serve steaks on sizzling iron pans, Boston restaurant in Wanchai, opposite Southorn Sportsground, is a good choice, and so is Danny's Kitchen, or Sunning's, both on Leighton Road near Time's Square, Causeway Bay
Vietnamese, Thai, Malaysian as well as Italian are really good too. Do explore on your own, they can't be too bad.

Advantages: the best clubbing place where Beckham, Rooney, Ferdinand etc. have been to Disadvantages: none, except if you hate crowded places
...LanKwaiFong is the most popular place for drinking, dining and clubbing for foreigners in HongKong. It is famous for its vibrant mixture of different cultures. If you do not believe this, let me convince you with some facts. When football teams such as Manchester United, Real Madrid and Chelsea came to HongKong, they all went to LanKwaiFong. Ask Rooney, Rio Ferdinand, Alan Smith, David Beckham, Ronaldo, Roberto Carlos…. They have all been to LanKwaiFong; and so as movie stars like Nicholas Cage and Keanu Reeves, LanKwaiFong becomes so well known and is a must-go place for foreigners no matter how long their stays are.

Advantages: lively, fun, popular with tourist, good quality food and drink Disadvantages: police all the time, 'people selling themselves'
...Lankwaifong is situated near the 'central station' of the undergroud network. If you want to go there, you exit by th 'D2' exit onto a road called 'Queen's Road Central', then walk down 'd'aguilar street' and turn left you will find 'LAn Kai Fong'.
The restaurants and bars here are going to be more expensive then the rest of HongKong because it's a tourist area. On average a 3 Course meal will be about $600 but the quality is exceptional. i personally reccommend a place called 'Zhong Guo Song' because it's one of the few restaurants that are based on chinese food.
If you want to go clubbing and drinking this is the top social area for tourists. It's full of life and constantly crowded the clubs and restaurants are also of exceptional quality and you may even meet people from a range of different countries. It really does depend...
