If you are ever in Langkawi, treat yourself to a great a dinner or more at Sheela's. This german-malaysian restaurant serves great german and malay cuisine and is located across the Holiday Villa on Tengah Beach. The prices are very fair. I ate barracuda for RM 8,- (US$2,5) with rice as a side dish. Among a large variety of food and drinks you find a large selection of freshly made tropical fruit drinks, such as starfruit juice. The service is outstanding as the friendly Sheela and her team will tend to your dining needs.
The restaurant setting has a nice feeling to it. The open kitchen and dining area amongst the green vegetation and palm trees is a great way to end the evening and recollect on the days happenings.
The walls are decorated with the art of malaysian-german Artist Lars whose works have received great acclaim in the Art scene.
