Access to the beach is very easy and though you can see it from the hotel it still requires a good brisk walk. The noisy fun fair can be avoided by crossing the railway line at the footbridge rather than by going into Dawlish Warren itself.
The hotel is very easy to get to from the M5, particularly if you take the coastal route, and is ideally situated for getting to a number of attractions around the area.
