Advantages: Pleasant Staff, Good Customer Service, Nice Breakfast Disadvantages: Expensive
The Victoria Park Plaza in London is an amazing hotel that has very comfortable, quality rooms and staff who are friendly and professional. The best thing about The Victoria Park Plaza is that it is in a prime position just two minutes from Victoria Station and an easy walk to some of London's main attractions. I found it perfect for shopping and buying souvenirs. There were also quite a number of restaurants close by and my mum who cannot walk far didn't complain once. Although we ate at the hotel we also sampled London's China Town.
It is a four star hotel and lives up to the standard. It is situated close to Buckingham Palace, Harrods, Westminster Abbey and Houses of Parliament. The hotel does not allow smoking anywhere near the building which my mum and I really appreciated because we are both none smokers. The smoking ban made ...
Advantages: Easy access to public transport and sea front promenade Disadvantages: cramped and slow lifts

Once inside, the reception area is spacious and has arm chairs and a TV. The staff here speak good English and are helpful. Both hotels have lifts which are in my opinion both slow and cramped. However the bedroom that my wife ...

In 1975, with the fall of Saigon and Phnom Penh, opposition to the Pathet Lao crumbled and they took Vientiane without opposition, establishing the Lao People’s Democratic Republic. THERE WERE TO BE plenty more surprises once we'd established base in a five dollar hotel and obtained some local cash (currency: the kip) from the glass fronted and air-conditioned! Bank and home, incidentally, to the only ATM in the country.
Walking through the settlements along the riverbank was like stepping ...
