..., and we were met by the local agents for JLA at Lima. The local agents in both Lima and Cusco were extremely well organised, conscientious and friendly.
The accommodation in hotels was all on a twin basis which surprised everyone. the hotel in Lima was barely registered due to a late arrival and early departure but in Cusco the hotel was comfortable, although work being done in the hotel started too early. In Machu Picchu town the hotel was simple but comfortable (after a week in tents any hotel was going to be ok). Twin accommodations in tents was expected, and the tents were of reasonable quality, but the locations were often quite simply breathtaking
Food throughout the trip was extremely good and no mean feat with the cooking limitations. We were never left to feel hungry either, supplied with breakfast, elevenses, lunch, tea...

...This hotel is right in the middle of the strip, so perfect location for visitng all other hotels. The lobby looks like a mini Paris, so you do not feel like you are in just a place like Las Vegas. Room are of a good size and actually very easy to find considering the size of the hotel. Casino is not as big as some others, but still good choice of tables and machines, can get very busy on a weekend. They have an onsite theatre which shoes hit shows such as we will rock you (which i think has now finished). staff are very friendly, but remember that in the the USA you need to tip, especially bar / restaurant staff. overall the hotel really fits in with the "out of this world" experience of Las Vegas....

...On the southern side of Teneriefe, located only 15 minutes coach ride from the airport, is the little known resort of paya A'Deje, the small resort next to Playa de lasAmericas.
We went on holiday to Playa A'Deje in May this year. The resort itself is very pleasent, it has a paved walkway running the full lenght of dark brown sandy beach. The paved walkways extend to Playa de lasamericas, it only takes about 20 minutes stroll to the main town.
We stayed in the hotel Guyiamania Princess, part of the Thomson Platinium range (5 Star).
The hotel over looked the beach, with every room having a balcony and sea view.
Although the hotel is expensive (approx £500 HB, a week depending on time of year), it is well worth paying the extra for the quality you get. The hotel has a wonderful restaurant, buffet style or a la carte, you choose...

Myself and my partner have just returned from a week in this hotel and had a fabulous time. We booked a double room with a Jacuzzi bath in the bathroom!!! What a lovely touch after a hard days tourism relaxing and having the jets massage those aching... more
