Advantages: Friendly, Nice Beach Disadvantages: Some nightlife quite expensive
...My flatmate and I stayed at the LasPiramides Hotel in June/July. This was fairly cheap for half board and I didnt expect the hotel to be so stylish and classy. The food was good quality and the staff helpful and friendly.
The hotel was directly opposite the beach and reached in about 2 minutes and the beach itself was excellent. The shoreline is pebbly but the main part is sand and very nice with sunbeds reasonably priced (3/4 euros for the day including parasol). The different sections of beacj have different characteristics. The bit by our hotel was fairly deep with fairly large waves and on 1 particular day was very rough which was loads of fun on a lilo. A bit further along towards the porto (port) was more populated with moderate sea and on the other side of the pier was very shallow and calm, excellent for young children...

Advantages: inexpensive but not cheap Disadvantages: a bit like a maze inside till you get used to it
...having visited the island on a good few occasions i have stayed in a few different hotels and appartments but rest assured for value for money, comfort and facilities none beat the laspiramides apartments. they are situated just off the heart of where everything happens, far enough away to get a good nights sleep but close enough not to have to walk miles home after a good night out. it has a large pool and surrounding area with no shortage of sun loungers unlike others i could mention. it also has a good bar for nights when you cant be bothered going into town, a supermarket within its premises and friendly staff. the rooms are fairly spacious and kept very clean, all come with the option of both bath and shower. depending on which part of the block you get the view from the balcony is very different having stayed here more than once i...

Advantages: Far enough away from Spains night noise to relax Disadvantages: none
...Fuengirola Park Hotel,
Well what can I say, been to this Hotel 4 times and had a great time on each occasion. The Hotel isn't strictly speaking in Fuengirola, its about 1 1/2 miles further along the coast in a much quieter area known as Torreblanca, which in itself no bad thing, as Fuengirola's nightlife can be quite loud to say the least.
The Hotel is a very friendly place to stay, but probably suited to Families that either require a more relaxed holiday or just the slightly older generation, but still, having said this my two teenagers have always enjoyed themselves there.
It deserves its three star rating, a sizeable Hotel consisting of 447 rooms which are in two separated blocks on either side of the complex, but joined via the dining area ,and club. There are 7 comfortable lifts, which access the 10 floors.
One side...
