Las Vegas - Wow!
Review of Las Vegas by Foxy1212

Advantages: Vibrant, diverse, unique
Disadvantages: possible to lose all your money very fast

...than a coach trip away there are more reasons to visit than the flashing lights. I strongly reccomend everyone should visit Las Vegas at least once, it is truly unique, completely individual, and offers the experience of a lifetime whatever you are looking for in a trip to Nevada. ... A View From Inside-Machines in Vegas
Review of Las Vegas by carloslvnv

Advantages: Few
Disadvantages: Plenty

Having lived in Las Vegas for more than 20 years with previous occasional visits 2 or 3 times a year during the 70's I can probably give you a glimpse of the "now and then" of the city. As you can imagine, There isn't an inch of this place I haven't visited at least once and many could benefit from my hard earned experiences and many, many losses. This particular review is geared toward those who are attracted not so much for the glitter but the ...
...course you're free to dispute my opinion but believe me - I've paid dearly to gain this knowledge - and all I want is for everyone to be careful, really careful when placing your bets. This said, I'd suggest NOT to play the slots. They are there with the worst odds in the World and the chances of hitting anything meaningful are very, very poor. Years ago, those darn machines could give you hours of pleasure gambling because they'd return frequently ... Read review

3 day Family trip to Las Vegas August 08
Review of The Las Vegas Strip by GMG1

Advantages: A fun place for a few days
Disadvantages: Not alot for young families

...family at this time of the year it is very hot! A dry dessert heat so need to dress in light casual clothes. Hotels on the strip are very busy all the time so if you want a break from all the action and a quiet swim stay off the strip. We stayed in the Best Western on Paradise Ave this is a budget motel which is about 5 minutes drive off strip. it was fine nice size double rooms over looking the pool area. Each room had a kitchen area with fridge. ...
...free car park. Or take the new Monorail but it is not cheap probably why nobody uses it! The strip is everything you can imagine and more a fantasyland stuck in the middle of the Nevada dessert. Best seen at night the last few years has seen the Strip get bigger and brasher. The first thing you realise about the Strip is how long it is, we walked the whole length of it one night and it took us 6 hours from the Mandalay Bay down to the Saraha! ... Read review

A Must for Vegas
Review of The Las Vegas Strip by ellaj15

Advantages: got everything
Disadvantages: building work

...god. is how to describe the Vegas Strip. This has everything that you could ever possibly want - restaurants, bars, shops and hotels. The views of the strips from the bridges going over the roads are breathtaking - both day and night. We were staying at the Luxor which is at one end of the Strip and it took us about five hours to walk up the Strip and back. The shops are fantastic and will suit every wallet. From Gucci and Fendi to Victoria's Secret ...
...malls - one right at the end and one in Planet Hollywood. the M&M's World shop is out of this world and is four floors of pure M&Ms! There are a few outdoor markets which sell quirky things and the stall owners don't pressure you in to buying anything. The Harley Davidson Cafe is a must as the food is fantastic and very reasonably priced. Walking up and down is an experience in itself. You can go in to any of the hotels and go shopping or eat. The ... Read review

Viva Las Vegas
Review of Las Vegas by Spottydog11

Advantages: Mad fun, first class service, food, shopping
Disadvantages: You could spend a lot of money!!

Viva Las Vegas - Where do I start - I absolutely love Las Vegas, it truly is a wonderufl playground. I used to live in LA so popping over to Vegas for the weekend was no problem, except don't drive home on a Labour Day weekend as it will take you 7 hours plus to get home! To experience Vegas you really need a good 3 days, any more and I think you will go stir crazy. I'm taking my husband there for his first time next month and this is what we are ...
...and down the strip taking in all the hotels. It's fun because you can pop into anyone you like, grab a quick drink, take a look around and then go onto the next. Where to stay - the Bellagio is obviously luxurious but a bit expensive so if you're looking for a middle of the road hotel the MGM or New York New york is nice. For a cheap but still great hotel try the Flamingo. Circus Circus is great for kids. All the hotels though offer first class ... Read review
