I went here in November 2006 with my boyfriend for 10 days. We found the hotel perfectly placed for the hotels we wanted to visit, though a long walk down to the far end of Luxor, Mandalay Bay. But if you use the Deuce bus (5 dollars for 24hr pas) there is a bus stop right outside and a bus every 5-10 minutes. ...A television, fair sized wardrobe space and drawers, iron and ironing board. There was also an in-room safe which was extremely handy as we could keep money etc locked away. The bathroom was all marble and had large bath with a shower over it and very good water pressure. Towels were changed often. ...Las Vegas and chose the MGM hotel to stay at so this forms my review. The MGM is located right on the strip (Las Vegas Boulevard) right by Tropicana Avenue so fairly near one end of the strip. It is located close to the New York New York hotel and there is actually a walkway which joins the two hotels to give you easy access to both. ...Paris, The Venetian etc. The MGM in my opinion is not as heavily themed as the other hotels but follows along the lines of old Hollywood/California movies stars etc with the feature of the MGM lion and movie star photos in the bedrooms. When the MGM first opened it had a Wizard of Oz theme, the green outside meant to look like the Emerald city and various attractions in this mould. Disadvantages: Major renovation going on, pools not themed.

...is loads to do, The Aladdin is opposite the Bellagio, and we have fountain views the last time we stayed which was pretty amazing! The casino floor is full of all types of machines and is a great place to spend a few Cent (or more)! The renovation going on is to transform the casino from the Aladdin to a Planet Hollywood resort only slightly hinders the guests and some of the lifts etc are closed so you have to walk the long way round, but I believe ...
...HAVE to go to the Aladdin buffet. It wins awards year in, year out and caters for everyone. There is everything from a traditional roast through to Sushi and Greek Kebabs!
