...or are celebrating something the Imperial Palace is more than adequate. There are a number of restaurants in the Imperial Palace, the only one we used was the Emperor's Buffet for breakfast, that was very nice and very reasonably priced. Again, go and explore the strip, there's plenty of places to eat and most are reasonably priced. The resident entertainment is the Legends lookalike show, it's like stars in your eyes but better. Living it up in Vegas

Advantages: Value for money, excellent casino layout, comfortable rooms
Disadvantages: Getting a bit tired, Arthurian theme not to everyone's liking

Sahara Hotel and Casino of Las Vegas

Advantages: Located at the border line of the Strip and downtown
Disadvantages: N/A

Sahara Hotel and Casino , located 2535 Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109 This Hotel is one of the oldest Hotels in town , must be at least 47 years old. Until abuot 5 years ago, it was pretty neglagted. The rooms and the service wasn't so great or in other words it was real bad. The walls had paint chips all over , it wasn't too clean either. 5 years ago new ownership took over, they invested few Million Dollars, to fix it and make it look real ...

Value for money

Advantages: Cheaper than staying in The Strip, free shuttle bus there
Disadvantages: It is not in the strip

We (me and my husband) stayed at the Goald Coast hotel for four nights in March 06. I think we it was about $60 per night for the double room without breakfast. The room was quite big with new and adequate furniture. The toilet was small but functional and was spotless. The people at the reception desk wern't particularly friendly but the rest of the staff at the hotel casino and shopes were. It is situated just off the Strip (about 15min walking ...

Budget conscious, clean, comfortable hotel

Advantages: Cheap price, reasonable rooms, good atmosphere in the casino
Disadvantages: Off Strip (but see full review).

(Palace Station may be about to gain some notoriety due the activities of one ex sports star turned serial suspect!)
