Advantages: Room size, brilliant swimming pools, staff and the fountain show!
Disadvantages: absolutely nothing

After a 2 week roadtrip of average motels and national park lodges, our 4 nights in Vegas were luxurious! We booked into the Bellagio purely because of Ocean's 11 and it was the perfect end to our roadtrip. From the moment we arrived, we had excellent service. RELAXING HAVEN IN LAS VEGAS

Advantages: Location is fantastic, escape from the madness and then dive back in....
Disadvantages: Nothing its brill!

A gorgeous luxurious hotel set in Las Vegas, we decided to stay here so we could get away from the chaos and madness of the casion hotels and it was fantastic, The views of the strip were amazing, with floor to ceiling windows, fantastic quality furnishings including really plush bathroom and the linin was incredible i wanted to take it home with me, real coffee machine with starbucks in your room! Review of Renaissance Las Vegas Hotel, Las Vegas

Grand indeed.

Advantages: Off strip location, beautiful accomodation with free parking
Disadvantages: None

Grandview is actually a timeshare development rather than an hotel but don't let that put you off...this place is built to a very high standard and the service is excellent. Accommodations consist of apartment style units - each with air cons and FULLY equipped kitchens with all mod cons. Review of Grandview at Las Vegas, Las Vegas

Big,Brash, Bold bit getting tired.

Advantages: Iconic place to stay.
Disadvantages: Decor was tired and a bit shabby

We stayed at the Luxor twice recently. Our first impression after a transatlantic flight was WOW!!! It was huge! I have never seen a hotel on this scale before. It took us over an hour to check in, we were queing for aboslutely ages, and I have no idea why as we were the only ones from our flight staying there! It felt a bit like queing for a ride at Disney world! Our room was on the 21st floor and again it was huge, we were blown away but after ...
...either. The following morning we went to look at the pool and spa and casino. Again the sheer size of everything is amazing and we were gobsmacked. I think we walked about with our mouths open for ages! I sampled the spa and it was lovely, nothing special but for 60 dollars you cant complain. A little bit of Venice in the middle of the desert.

Advantages: Safe and secure great facilities very luxurious suites extremely comfortable.
Disadvantages: Time share touts in all the hotels in Las Vegas.

The Venetian hotel is a 5 Star high quality hotel and like all the hotels in Las Vegas it is a spectacularly decorated and themed hotel based on Venice with a canal that goes from a lagoon on the outside right through the middle of the hotel and various squares restaurants and shopping malls inside. Nothing can prepare you for the brilliant and opulence of the hotel. Looking at pictures and its web site you are ill prepared for what you are about ...

It is a covered area and the porters and car directors are dressed in traditional black trousers, striped T-shirts and straw hats giving the impression that they are gondoliers.
