...A Budget = The Imperial Palace is not the biggest or boldest hotel an casino on the Las Vegas strip. Most people probably won't have even heard of it, it's not exactly iconic. However it does have two very redeeming features, location and price. Ok, this isn't the Bellagio but let's face it who wants to spend all of their time in Vegas in their room when there's the opportunity to lose your money in any of the numerous and more ...
...or are celebrating something the Imperial Palace is more than adequate. There are a number of restaurants in the Imperial Palace, the only one we used was the Emperor's Buffet for breakfast, that was very nice and very reasonably priced. Again, go and explore the strip, there's plenty of places to eat and most are reasonably priced. The resident entertainment is the Legends lookalike show, it's like stars in your eyes but better. If that floats ...

  A Superb Gamble in Vegas! The Paris Hotel!

Advantages: Something new to explore..you can be in Paris and Las Vegas at the same time!
Disadvantages: A bit pricy for some, you need more than two weeks to see everything!

...They have managed to bring Paris, the city of romance, to the desert of Las Vegas while still keeping the Spirit of the City of Lights, Neon and Roulette! ...it again! I’m truly and utterly in love with this place. There are two downsides about this place. One is the issue of surcharges on everything . . . be careful and always ask before doing anything. Review of Paris, Las Vegas

Big,Brash, Bold bit getting tired.

Advantages: Iconic place to stay.
Disadvantages: Decor was tired and a bit shabby

We stayed at the Luxor twice recently. Our first impression after a transatlantic flight was WOW!!! It was huge! I have never seen a hotel on this scale before. It took us over an hour to check in, we were queing for aboslutely ages, and I have no idea why as we were the only ones from our flight staying there! It felt a bit like queing for a ride at Disney world! Our room was on the 21st floor and again it was huge, we were blown away but after ...
...either. The following morning we went to look at the pool and spa and casino. Again the sheer size of everything is amazing and we were gobsmacked. I think we walked about with our mouths open for ages! I sampled the spa and it was lovely, nothing special but for 60 dollars you cant complain. El Cortez - Downtown Las Vegas

Advantages: Relatively cheap
Disadvantages: Noisy.

El Cortez is one of those old places that still survive the demolition frenzy in Las Vegas.
