Las Vegas is ok. Unless you are a hardcroe gambler then dont bother. I went there in July-August as well as the grand canyon,san diego,la and chicago. The hotel we stayed at (Circus Circus) wasnt brilliant but even with great hotel I wouldnt have enjoyed it any more. The lights are something though and it was a great experience but if you want to get out and about then dont go. The roads are packed as well as the streets and at 114 degrees F in the Summer it is difficult to even walk. on the way down there (fromn LA) you encounter oneof the fastest rollarcoasters in the world-Whiskey Petes this is worth a stop.
