Las Vegas...there's sooo much to see and do that it's difficult not to spend all of your money in the first three days of your visit! Here's a few tips on how to do Las vegas on a budget.
Every hotel and casino gives away free stuff. Whichever hotel you stay at or visit, find the information desk and ask for a book of coupons- money off, 2 for 1s and free incentives can all be found in these magic books. The weekly Las vegas magazine, which again can be found in all hotels and casinos, is jam packed with ideas and offers and you will find many money off vouchers in here too. Most, if not all, casinos have a players club that can be joined. Membership is usually free and you can obtain free slot play, free drinks and even free rooms just by signing up.
If you're in town for a while and you've got an aftrenoon to waste, there are always timeshare companies looking to give you $100, free show tickets, free food vouchers and money off coupons just for spending an hour or two with them, looking at a new resort or two. No signature required and no catch (as far as we could see!); all they ask is that you pass on what you have seen to other visitors.
There are always touts on the streets trying to give you leaflets and magazines. Take them! They are full of offers and freebies. Just be careful of what you accept...some leaflets can be rather rude!
**Things to do that don't cost a thing** Here's the list: *Circus Circus' free circus acts, every half hour from 12pm-midnight *Bellagio's dancing fountains, every 15mins from 3pm-midnight *Excalibur's court jester's stage, 11am-730pm every day *Flamingo's Wildlife Habitat, 9am-5pm *Harrah's carnival court, shows from noon-1am *Mirage's volcano erupts every 15mins from 8pm-midnight *Ventian, St. Mark's Sq entertainers, various times. *Treasure Island's sirens perform at various evening times.
