When we returned home only £34 had left our account which goes to show how cheap the food is there. The food was lovely and if/when we return to Prague we will be returning to this club both during the hot days and to check out the nightlife which we were far too tired to do on this occasion!
this is a great little establishment where party is the essence. as is the case with all of prague and all of prague's night spots, you will ot fail to enjoy yourself due to the very cheap price of alcohol. this is a place which demands such behaviour, simply relax have some or a lot of beers and let yourself go. there is all night dancy and the clientele though comprising primarily of tourists and drunkards is essentially a happy one, where all ...

Advantages: Strong and cheap drinks and you can get food 24/7 Disadvantages: Some places will overcharge you
.45 - £1.70) for Jim beam with coke or other mix like that. Vodka is usualy cheaper and Wine as well large glas of wine is usualy about 40czk (£1)
For people who like House music and techno and that sort of music
The best place is probably Karlovy Lazne which is just of the Charles Bridge and it is located at place called Lavka pronounced as (La-v-ka)
There is an entrance usually about 100czk (£2.40)
This place have got 4 floors of House, Hard rock, 70-80 music and in one room it is usually something different every time. You can checked leaflets in Tourist informations in Prague.
It is a bit more expensive than usual night club and you have to drink from plastic cups because this place is located by the river. And the owners don't want people throwing the glasses over to it.
If you are romantic couple and you want to have ...
Advantages: Cheap, cheerful, romantic Disadvantages: Can be very busy, beware of rip off merchants
how much change you would like back. On the last day I got tight and said all of it and the look I got was disgusting. She said something in Czech - what I do not know but can only guess. This happened at Lavka - a bar on the river. Again I would avoid this since it is expensive and the waitresses are very rude.
I should note that in restaurants we were not told about the tip. Upon paying the bill all change would come back and it was up to you to leave a tip. In these I generally left 25% since the service was excellent, the food was excellent and it is very cheap.
It appears that you should tip everyone in Prague. You pay 10Kr to go to the toilet and the person taking the money expects a tip. You pay 500Kr to get from the airport to the studio (which we later found out is double what we should have paid) and the driver expects ...
Advantages: Beautiful city, cheap if you hit the right places Disadvantages: Rather disorganised and very easy to get ripped off
local nightlife we hit a place called 'The Zombie Bar' that we'd seen the day before. It was here that Tauf suggested we tried Absinthe, we did this and then stumbled out into the streets of Prague charged as you like. After a bite to eat in Macdonald's where under the influence of Absinthe I walked into the woman's toilets we moved on to an Irish bar, not much life but a bit more than the previous bar. All the staff in the place were as far as I remember Irish, Australian or British so they all spoke English. We also met a lone guy called Jeff (ex-oxford, genuine smoothy) who we decided to hit a recommended club with.
The club, 'Lavka' apparently charged no entry fee but there was one of 50 Czech whatevers taken by some dodgy git standing in the entrance. Just your genuine cheesy club really. Jeff bought us both a beer and proceeded to try ...
