The Town Hall is the most remarkable ancient monument of Brussels and one of the most beautiful examples of gothic architecture in Belgium. The flower market is held in this magnificent setting every Sunday morning.
Many tourists are seen at Grand Place and in June of this year it was packed with people all day and evening, as there was a heat wave on the weekend that I was there.
The Royal Palace, in the center of Brussels, is where the King carries out his official duties. This is interesting to see and I was able to take a coach tour to this which was arranged by my hotel called Hotel Bristol Stephanie.
This was my first time to Brussels and I would definitely recommend it to anyone...

Le Cerceuil .(The Coffin) Haringstraat / Rue des Harengs, 10 - 1000 Brussels. This café is quite special. It is decorated like a morgue, complete with coffins, skulls, black velvet, etc.

In this list you will find cafés that are not typical beer pubs. They can be rather considered as cafés in the grand Parisian or Viennese style (coffee, cake, wine). They are sometimes situated in Hotels. Most of them are already worth the visit for the beautiful setting.

...hotel and both times they turned us away with no explanation. As it turned out we were only 5 minutes away but they did not even explain this to us. I think they were waiting for Euro Bureacrats with Big pockets.
We also booked our hotel via the Ryanair associated website and it was a very acceptable 3 star affair with en-suite and only 10 minutes from the centre by tram. The tram service was very regular and ran until about midnight.
Everything in Brussels is on a small scale for a city and all the main attractions are within easy walking distance or a couple of stops on the easily manageable underground system. Travel is easy as you can buy a daily pass that covers the underground, trams and the buses for a few euros, get a travel map early and make the most of it!

If location is what you want, then this is a winner-the hotel is as centrally located as you are going to get, plus the bus from the Train Station stops outside. A few minutes walk south... more
