After a very long shower, I'm sure that mud had welded to my body. I managed to get clean up and met my friend back in the Orchid restaurant for a refreshing drink. We were going to have a pot of tea, but seen as we were in the process of detoxing, we opted for a refreshing lemon presse. This drink was served with some delicious ginger snap biscuits. We quite happily compared notes and laughed about trying to remove the caked on mud. Soon enough noon had arrived and we departed off to our next treatments.
My next treatment was a Le Dermie Facial (£50 for 60 minutes). I've never heard of this before, so quite happily relaxed on the table and asked the lady conducting the treatment to explain what was happening. The treatment uses...

...extremely worthwhile both during the day and the evening, where the views offer something different. In the day you can see the sea, whereas in the evening you get a good view of all the local fishing boats as well as the lights of the restaurants in the background, illuminating the bay. There is a wide variety of restaurants in the local area, offering a wide variety of local dishes. These range from Rabbit and Veal to Swordfish and Octopus, all of which are local produce, and all of which I consumed with extreme pleasure! Some of the main restaurants and the ones I visited (also recommended by the "Visit Malta" book we received at the airport upon arrival) are San Giulana, Paparazzi, Le Dolce Vita and Raffael's.
