...Hoping for a short break in the sun we opted for Nice which is a great city. The hotel was located on the main promenade , easy walking distance to all the big fashion shops and the old town. It was also a very easy bus ride from the airport, the bus stop just outside the hotel. Approx 3 euros for a bus journey considerably cheaper than a taxi! The staff were helpful, all fluent in English, the standard room was spacious, TV minibar and nice toiletries provided. The rooftop pool was a great place to relax, with a stunning view over the sea, nice comfortable sun beds, towels etc, good sun spot, as was the rooftop restaurant - excellent in terms of service and quality of food. Breakfasts were served in the restaurant inside the hotel, a buffet style inc cooked and continental foods, fruit, cereals etc etc plenty of good quality...

The receptionists at the desk are fairly brisk in their manner, but they don’t keep you hanging around, which is always important. At the time of my visit, the hotel was having some...

I’ve just returned from a holiday in Nice, where there’s approximately 300 days of sunshine a year, there are French women sunbathing topless on the beach, and you can dunk your baguette in your coffee and just sit back and watch the world go by. I went more
