...This is a wonderful 5 star hotel. Set on the gorgeous Jumeriah Beach. The rooms are second to none. Staff are very dedicated and nothing is to much! The most popular restaurant is the buffet restaurant. Breakfasts are feast fit for a king! From fresh fruit, pastries, egg chef, cooked breakfast, cereals and continental breakfasts to. They also do evening themed buffets which are great entertainment specially the Arabic evening. There is also a beautiful spa in a Roman theme, ideal for relaxing after a hectic day or to get ready for a night out! The hotel also offers a free shuttle bus to different locations but be warned seats are first come first served and it gets full quick! Also unlike some hotels, the room cleaing is superb! ...for hire. There is also an open air theatre in the park where regular outdoor concerts are held. I took a look at it and was surprised to see it had about a thousand seats (at my guess) laid out in a banked amphitheatre style and a large stage. Guide books also mention a small zoo in the park but I could see no sign of it and was told it has either closed down or is about to. There are several cafes in the park with outdoor seating. The annual wine festival is held in the gardens every September. **Shopping** Limassol has plenty of the usual souvenir shops you would expect to see in a seaside resort but being a fairly large city it has much more to offer, including a Debenhams department store in the tourist area and a vast Carrefour hypermarket on the edge of town. ...Le Royal Meridien Spa Beach Resort and Spa Have stayed at the Meridien Spa twice now and it has to have been one of the best hotels I have stayed in. If we are flying through Dubai it is the only place the family will stay in for a couple of days stop over. Upon arrival in Dubai, after negotiating the immigration queues. LeMeridien will meet you (if prearranged) and drive you to the resort. The hotel is situated about 25 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from the centre of Dubai. Taxis are available but last time I visited it was a nightmare trying to find one at 3 in the morning! You cannot walk from your hotel into town unless you are mad! Wild Wadi is close by, 10 minutes by taxi. Upon arrival everything is taken care of, your luggage taken to your room while you register and sign in. Welcome drinks upon arrival and some air...
