We stayed at Le Meridienhotel for 2 wks and we had a great time. Its located near the famous Pyramids of Giza on the west bank of the river Nile.
The views from the hotel were fantastic and there is nothing to dislike about this lovely 4 star hotel....
Our room was very spacious and really comfortable, all rooms have air conditioning and we had a tv in our room with satellite tv, a large en suite bathroom which was very clean and quite spacious with a bath and shower etc and towels were changed daily, we also had a fridge and a large wardrobe with ample space for hanging clothes and a secure safe to keep our money and travellers cheques.
The food was realy good quality and very fresh, lots of fish, chicken and salads at the main resturaunt and there was other resturaunts serving mexican, japanese and french cusine so lots to choose from.
The staff were very friendly and helpful to us the whole time and because they were so smiley and happy it really helped make our holiday..
The hotel had extremely high standards for cleanliness and the cleaners/maids came and thouroughly cleaned our room every day.
This hotel has two bars and a large swimming pool and lots of activities such as watersports and other sports for all of the family, there was a large shopping arcade that sold food, drinks, disposable cameras, things for the beach like flip flops etc, there was also a beauty saloon that offered massages and facials etc.
This seemed more like a 5 star hotel than a 4 star and looks like a palace inside, very nicely decorated and modern.
Overall very impressed and would definately go back again and can happily recommend this hotel to all, excellent value for money - Less than £2000 for both of us all inclusive

Pretty good review. On the cost, was that hotel only, or a package including flights and transfers? To know would help put the value in perspective. Also, ease of getting to see the pyramids and other sites; does the hotel organise tours? Duncan
