*** Bonjour*** You are a tourist in visit in "Paname" (Paris) and you are in quest for a refreshing, comfy and exotic place in the centre of Paris or in the suburbs, you can just drop in one of the 17 restaurants of "Paradis des Fruits" translated as "Fruits Heaven" what does this tempting and attractive eden place hide? Paradis des Fruits is a unique type of restaurants offering fruity, refreshing food in an tropical setting.
If Mr/Mrs Customer is the " King" Mr/Mrs "Fruit" is the "Prince" of "royal" Paradis des Fruits. Most recipes and cocktails, yoghurts, milkshake are based out of fresh fruits. Fruits from all around the world knock on your door
Come in, Sit down, Get yourself comfortable, breath in and take a look at the menu: select between the Fruit Bar, Vitamin Menu or the Fruit Desert. If the items on the menu change on a regular basis the base gives you a ton of fruit cocktails, some varied exotic salads or fruity, chantilly ice creams and fruit salads. Recipes are not restricted to fruits only. When selecting the exotic salads you can escape to the Caribbeans, or Italy, etc. You will for example taste the Caribbean Island Salad with Curry Chicken or the Italian Antipasti Mozarrella Soup and close the journey with a somptuous chantilly fruity ice cream.
Oupps trapped into the fruit universe I was going to forget the alcohol! "Alcohol" is the restaurant's "valet" serving our King Customer and Prince Fruit! The Paradis des Fruit does offer a cool menu of French wines and champagne drinks for those who need a little dizzy flavour to get lost in the fruit jungle
Because of the young, friendly and popular atmosphere you may drop in the middle of a typical French hen's or birthday party!
As for all Heavens is this reality or a dream will you be entering the Heaven ok .. let's now consider three shadows in this "Paradis"
First as you may have understood if you are a meat fan Paradis des Fruits will not be your best bet. Even though the restaurant is non veggie, meat is quite scarce and restricted to the main exotic dishes or salads.
Second if you observe in detail the colonial chairs, tables and plants .. some decoration may look outdated as if the time stopped 20 years ago almost the age of this concept.
Finally as for all popular and famed Parisian spots price are slightly on the high range, but still far less compared to a Bistrot on the Champs-Elysees. Expect a main salad dish for 15 euros and fruit cocktail between 7 and 9 euros.
You do not need to book a seat, however expect some queues on week-ends at the centre locations of Paris (St Michel, les Halles, Bastille). These spots are very conveniently located next to major underground stations. Pets are accepted and mobile phone is tolerated. Restaurants open between 11:30AM and 1:30AM everyday.
