Le Parker Meridien, New York City

Advantages: Central Located, great facilities, stunning decor
Disadvantages: Staff are not as polite as I expected them to be

...Off all the hotels I have stayed at in New Delhi and having visted Delhi regularly, I have stayed at many !, I would rate the Le Meridien as one of my favourites for both location and facilities. The rooms are stunning and the front entrance is beautiful. The food is worth trying, but not every day as the food on the street is far better if you can stomach it !! In terms of price it is very affordable given the fact that it is central Delhi. However, a word of caution, albeit a personal experience and not one in general, the staff I did not find very courteous and to the standard I expected of a 5 star hotel. Having said that though, they were not rude in any shape or form, just not as good as other hotels in the area. In summary, I class 5 star hotel for the price.... Read review

...Le Meridien Mina Seyahi, Dubai -------------------------------------------- There are several Le Meridien Hotels in Dubai, but we found the Mina Seyahi on Jumeriah Beach to be one of the best. We stayed there for the first week of our honeymoon in the summer of 2002. Le Meridien Mina Seyahi is a relatively new 5 * hotel about 30 minutes drive outside of the city centre of Dubai. It stands on the shores of the Arabian Gulf beside the magnificent Jumeriah Beach. The hotel is part of the new international marina complex, which is located adjacent to the hotel on the left hand side. Advantages: fantastic service/weather
Disadvantages: building work!

...I first visited Dubai in April 02 not knowing quite what to expect.Fortunately I went on a trip through work and had to review and inspect certain hotels. Very little sets the hotels apart as they are all from an incredible standard.Though I have to say Le Meridien Royal Beach Spa is now my firm favourite.The service is amazing,although I experienced that in all hotels. Dubai as a city is great.The people are very friendly and courteous and so long as you respect that it is a muslim culture you will not feel uncomfortable going throught he souks etc... It is absolutely essentail to go on a jeep safari into the desert .Arabian adventures do a great night one. I have returned to Dubai 4 times now and my only gripe is that there is so much building work going on due to 'the palm' and the increased popularity of the place.I hope it does... Read review
