Le Queen started out life as a gay and transexual club in the '80's, big on attitude and big on the Paris scene. If you were a female of any persausion, you had a lot of trouble trying to get passed the door - but times have changed. Since the '90's Queen has been broadening its horizons so that you find a healthier mix of straight and gay clientele on a normal night: there are still gay orientated nights (for example they always host the Act Up ... ...details or listen to radio FG on 98.2,(which will give you all the info for techno clubs in Paris.) Music is VERY dance and techno flavoured, special djs occasionally, varying the ambience, but most of the time they are resident.
Situated on the Champs Elysee, the club is able to charge as they see fit, so when there is a charity night like Act Up the price is only 50ff, and on most other occasions this jumps to 100ff. Drinks are expensive, so do ...
