There are several LeMeridien Hotels in Dubai, but we found the Mina Seyahi on Jumeriah Beach to be one of the best. We stayed there for the first week of our honeymoon in the summer of 2002.
LeMeridien Mina Seyahi is a relatively new 5 * hotel about 30 minutes drive outside of the city centre of Dubai. It stands on the shores of the Arabian Gulf beside the magnificent Jumeriah Beach. The hotel is part of the new international marina complex, which is located adjacent to the hotel on the left hand side. Advantages: Great location a few minutes walk from the Old Town Disadvantages: Can be expensive and the resteraunt could be better.
...The hotel is located just a few minutes walk from Warsaw's Old Town right next door to the Royal Palace and a few minutes walk in the other direction to the Tomb of the unknown soldier.
The staff are superb, all speaking several languages and very welcoming. The room was fantastic, if a little dark as it was located towards to back of the hotel overlooking the palace and the outdoor resteraunt. The bathroom was amazing, huge and full of marble, the basin was a work of art ! The beds are prepared for you at night, a clean robe and slippers a selection of chocolates and a weather forecast for the next day.
The attached resteraunt is over-priced and there are better to be found nearby - but do try the breakfast in your room at least once, it is superbly presented and will set you up for a day's sightseeing....
