I first went to the lead station with my current boyfriend and some friends for the first time. I had heard quite a lot of reviews about it but had never actually been myself. People raved on about how good the food was ... ...Others had prewarned me that there are a fair share of gay people that go in there, namely gay women. This didn't phase me at all as I regularly go out in the gay village in Manchester and I am not homophobic in the least.

I first went to the lead station with my current boyfriend and some friends for the first time. I had heard quite a lot of reviews about it but had never actually been myself. People raved on about how good the food was and could even name specific dishes I should try. Others had prewarned me that there are a fair share of gay people that go in there, namely gay women. This didn't phase me at all as I regularly go out in the gay village in Manchester and I am not homophobic in the least. My first impressions as I walked in were 'what a classy venue', the decor is lovely it seemed to have a really relaxed atmosphere and was decorated ina contempory fashion. There is also a terrace type section at the back with tables where you can sit and eat or drink in the sun. We all order food and although it took longer than I would have wanted for the food to come (it was quite busy and I was frustrated cause I was absolutely starving) when it arrived it was excellent. The menu changes from week to week, some things reamin the same and some things are modified, trust me that all of it is delicious. To the point where I near licked my plate! There is a dessert that is never changed. Baileys cheesecake...it is to die for and I throughly recommend that it is tested the first time you go. They always have what you order, the specials board is usually packed with even more rare delights. You also recieve a good portion of food, although it can sometimes be on the more expensive side it doesn't have to be. For example pasta dishes are quite cheap where as steaks etc are more expensive but you fine this anywhere you eat. The service was good, although I've had to wait a few times it is a very popular place and is usually quite busy. It is however service with a smile. Drinks are also reasonably expensive but they have a good selection of wines, largers, spirits and alcopops. There is also the chance that you may bumo into someone quite famous, last time I was there we bumped into Phillip Neville the Manchetser United football player with his girlfriend, and hey if it's good enough for him it's good enough for me!!
often located beside these places have proved, invaluable. Travelling through Bank holiday traffic can often lead to a desperate struggle to find a room in the middle of the night and service stations have come to my rescue on numerous occassions.
So, for the lack of quality and cost you may feel like you are losing out, but to me they are an oasis in the desert. In an ideal world, the food would be good, prices cheap and toilets would actually smell nice, but it's not an ideal world and most things come at a price! ...

, 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels. There's no cotton pad or cotton buds (I've asked the hotel but they do not provide these). There's also tea and coffee making facilities in the room. There are only a few clothes hangers and I've asked them to send me more which they did. They are also willing to send iron and ironing board to your room.
The location:
Jordan MTR station is only a few minutes walk from Eaton Hotel. Once you come out from the hotel, you'd see 7-Eleven opposite the road. Turn right and you would come to the main road Nathan Road. Turn left and you would walk pass Starbucks. Keep walking straight and you will see the MTR sign after about 3 minutes. This is Exit B1 of the MTR station. You can also take the Exit B2 from the MTR station. It would lead you to the back of the hotel and the distance is shorter but if you are not ...
London Heathrow is one of the world's most busiest airports as well as one of the largest. One of UKs main airports, it has 4 terminals, which has several airlines coming in and out from around the world. Made possible by the several number of runways.
Accesibility to the airport is also excellent. A great parking facility at each terminal for short and long term stay if you travelled by car. A bus route if you live locally. Coach parks if you have travelled nationally. Taxi ranks to get to where ever you need and of course, the London Underground via Picadilly line, which leads to London's King Cross (Train station). With all this, there should be no problem getting there.
The number of shops also make airport seem like a mini shopping mall, which is great, with the additional food courts. Help and service there is also good. ...
