Beautiful Baalbek

Advantages: Fantastic Roman Ruins
Disadvantages: Very hot in summer months

...worth a look round as it has reconstructions of all the temples and gives you a great impression of what the whole area would have been like in roman times. The six remaining colums of the Temple of Jupiter are huge and look fantastic in the beautiful Lebansese sunlight. ...
