the leeds experience

Advantages: shopping , nightlife, jobs, eating out, cinema,
Disadvantages: none

In leeds yes its brill if there isnt appartments going up then there is new offices or call centre's here you can get to leeds very easily there is a bus station were you can catch a bus to go up to the main shopping centre the headrow but whats the point as it is only 5 miniutes from the market and the indoor market you will get sweets , clothes, bags, and other goodies from the market especially on a saturday . branigans a pub come eating place ...
...or the national express in leeds too to go to any major airports the main shops like evans and new look and many more lke harvey nichols and even the ( light ) were there is a cinema and an eating place as well as a shopping centre. the coastliner what runs from the leeds bus station what goes from leeds to bridlington , whitby, york , malton, pickering, flamingoland , scarbrough, this trip is good the cost is £ 4.00 for a return ticket and you ...

getting around leeds

Advantages: transport , shops, resturants , cinema, train station , coach station
Disadvantages: none

cannot say that generally I am a fan of buses for reasons too many to mention. There are an excellent range of fares available on First Leeds transport, day tickets cost less than £2 and you can have unlimited travel on First bus throughout the Leeds and other areas. just ten minutes away is the train station were you can travel anywere. the yorkshire coastliner is very good in good weather as it goes from leeds to ripon, pickering, malton, york, ...
...pound depending how many off you are traveling the leeds bus station as its own coach station for the national express were you can pick up tickets and even go for something to eat. just out side the bus station there is a taxi rank but be carefull you may get ripped off ...

Review of Getting around in Leeds

Lovely Leeds

Advantages: Lots to see and do
Disadvantages: The weather can be disappointing

I have lived in Leeds all my life, studied here, and have now settled here post uni. I have lived in more rural areas, out of town suburbs, studentville, and even dabbled in some almost city living. It's one of those cities that has been experiencing a boom over the last twenty or so years, overtaking the other cities of West Yorkshire to become the largest, and arguably most successful. Traditionally it really began to develop as a municipality ...
...it has hard to class Leeds as one thing in particular - different areas all function as independent towns whilst being part of the larger Leeds - and with most cities has it's share of division. It's not necessarily the first place you'd think of for a city break, or maybe you live here but don't yet realise what lies a little further afield, but, if you fancy visiting a city with a variety of things to do and see, I would highly recommend making ...

Leeds - Live It, Love It

Advantages: Leeds Has It All
Disadvantages: The history and real Leeds is often overlooked

Leeds - Cosmoplolitan City of the North. Blends the old with the new. Gone are most of the heavy industrial areas that I grew up with - particularly in the City as new business prospects take Leeds and develop it - not always for the best (check out the 'Dalek' on the skyline) but it is certainly a booming place.
