Quality Hotel Selby Fork

Advantages: Good room and amenities
Disadvantages: evening meal poor and disorganised

Visited for one night stay on February 23rd along with my wife and another couple. We were very happy with the room and anyone taking children will enjoy the heated indoor swimming pool along with other amenities. Unfortunately the couple with us had two single beds pushed together which made for an uncomfortable night for them. Also some rather loud clanging during the night presumably from the water pipes or air conditioning system. When it came ...
...time we got to the front of a rather chaotic queue there was no pork left and we got an unenthusiastic reply that no more was to come out. No carrots or peas etc, just undercooked cauliflower and broccoli. Although we enjoyed the breakfast the coffee was luke warm and only dregs were left in the teapot. ...

Ramada Leeds Parkway a nice hotel with lovely function rooms

Advantages: Good food, Lovely function rooms, Clean, friendly and lots of parking
Disadvantages: expensive food and drink

This hotel is lovely and resonably priced. I had an over night stay here after attending my fathers wedding reception held in one of the function rooms, as with any hotel the drinks and food are expensive and they ran out of a few favouritedrinks that is the only drawback! The hotel room and function rooms are tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean and all staff were welcoming and very helpful. Buffet Style food for night do was lovely with a ...
...good selection of continental options also. Plenty of parking for guests and visitiors. In my opinion a good location for any occasion or a stay in Leeds Although the hotel itself is quite rural so not for everyone i think overall a lovely place may not be suited to familys over the weekend due to functions but when i requested a room away from this area due to my young child staying overnight the staff were most accomodating! ...

The Beautiful hotel with happy staff!

Advantages: Excellent Staff, Scenic views
Disadvantages: Not much around the location

The Holiday Inn at Leeds Bradford airport is about 5-10mins drive from the airport itself. It can be found down a long driveway with scenic and vast countryside views around it. The local scenery is breath-taking and the staff make your visit worth-while. Ample car parking is available for all residents and a small reception is immediatley found through the main doors. The staff are friendly and quite funny, and a simple request is never a problem. ...
...Beside the reception area is the bar and restaurant and the prices are not to attractive, but its a mainstream hotel. Located just behind the reception desk is a small comfort area with complimentary newspapers and a corridor to the rooms and lifts to the upper floors. The ground floor also has an onsite gym and pool of which are both complimentary for residents. The rooms have double beds and a seperate bathroom both of which of high standard. ...

Mixed Feelings But A Bargain Of A Stay!

Advantages: Cheap. Nice location. Good service.
Disadvantages: Rooms not up to standard. Healthclub unequipped. Tiny pool.

...booking websites continually named the Hilton in Garforth as having availability at rather an attractive rate so after much deliberation we booked it. By road Garforth is easily accessible from the M1 and M62 motorways, it is 7 miles from Leeds City Centre. We travelled to Garforth by train from Manchester, the direct route takes just under an hour and a half or a local service can be caught from Leeds, the connection takes between 5 and 10 minutes ...
...to relax. The Leeds Hilton is exactly 2 miles from the train station and there is a small taxi office actually on the station. We arrived at the hotel just after midday, my first impression of the hotel from the outside was pretty negative. The building was flat and very grey with what looked like double storey corridors jutting out in every direction, my first guess that these were the bedroom quarters was proved correct. On a positive note there ...

Our stay in Leeds

Advantages: Clean and comfortable
Disadvantages: None for us

42 The Calls Leeds When we visited Leeds a few weeks ago, we decided we wanted a hotel close to the city centre which would be comfortable and a general search found us booking this one. **Getting there...** Address: 42 the Calls LS2 7EW Leeds It’s always tricky finding somewhere in a new city, so we entered the post code into the sat nav and off we went. The only tricky bit was when we got to the centre, where there are one way streets, but this ...
...it became obvious that it was very close to the centre although in a really quiet area right next to the river, so we parked the car in a parking bay next to the hotel and went to check in. It’s worth noting here that the parking bays are free after 6pm and free all day on a Sunday so although the hotel does get reduced rates for the nearby car parks, if you are there on a Saturday night, it’s worth making use of the parking bays. **First Impressions...** ...
