Sweet stay in Sweet Street

Advantages: Position, Cleanliness, Most of the staff
Disadvantages: Reception staff could be a bit friendlier, room colours

~~Reasons for choosing this hotel~~ The business I had to visit is literally across the road, near the M1/M62 junction and, having stayed here before overnight, I thought it was a decent option for a two night business stay. ~~Booking~~ The Bewleys website, is very easy to navigate and when I selected the Leeds hotel out of the 6 hotels available and put in the required dates I was presented with a list of the available rooms. I had to book for ...
...which are thankfully still available at this hotel. I chose twin rooms as there were no standard doubles listed and twins are advertised as having a double and single bed. The room rate was £79.00 per night plus breakfast at £6.95. ~~Arrival~~ We accessed the hotel via the lift (there are also stairs) from the secure underground car park (£6 per day for guests) which has two floors and a good proportion of disabled spaces near the lift. Perfect place to stay for a night out in Leeds!

Advantages: Great location and good value for money
Disadvantages: Parking!

I stayed at the Novotel Leeds in for a weekend in April. We went basically just to have a change of scene and night out somewhere different. When it comes to Novotels I tend to think they are all much of a muchness and you know what to expect. However, I was quite impressed by this Novotel. It seemed a bit more modern and well kept and of better standard than other Novotels I've been to. Rooms - Rooms were clean and basic with everything you would ...
...beds were comfy! The walls were quite thin and I think a lot of people had the same idea as us and were staying and having a night out in Leeds so there was a bit of noise but not enough to worry about. Facilities - The hotel has a nice large bar that was relatively busy. We had a couple of drinks there before venturing out and it had quite a nice atmosphere. Staff - Staff were all friendly and with not knowing leeds that well provided us with ...

Ramada Leeds Parkway a nice hotel with lovely function rooms

Advantages: Good food, Lovely function rooms, Clean, friendly and lots of parking
Disadvantages: expensive food and drink

This hotel is lovely and resonably priced. I had an over night stay here after attending my fathers wedding reception held in one of the function rooms, as with any hotel the drinks and food are expensive and they ran out of a few favouritedrinks that is the only drawback! The hotel room and function rooms are tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean and all staff were welcoming and very helpful. Buffet Style food for night do was lovely with a ...
...good selection of continental options also. Plenty of parking for guests and visitiors. In my opinion a good location for any occasion or a stay in Leeds Although the hotel itself is quite rural so not for everyone i think overall a lovely place may not be suited to familys over the weekend due to functions but when i requested a room away from this area due to my young child staying overnight the staff were most accomodating! ...

park plaza hotel - leeds

Advantages: easy to find, near to everything, little bit of luxury
Disadvantages: none

i stayed at the park plaza for a night a year ago with my boyfriend. it isn't the cheapest in leeds, but you get what you pay for! it's really easy to get to, straight across from the train station, and near all the nightlife, shops and resteraunts. we didnt go to the resteraunt in the hotel, but the bar was pretty good, expensive as you'd expect though. the room was great!!! all black & white, really big bed, nice posh bathroom with a really deep ...
