A quick stay at Quebecs...
Advantages: Wonderfully designed & perfect location Disadvantages: costly
Quebec's hotel is a boutique townhouse hotel in Leeds. My husband and myself took our first romantic night away here. Our plan was to hit the vibrant lights of the city on the Saturday night along with enjoying the luxury of this gorgeous hotel. This plan was all to change... *Location* Quebec's hotel has brilliant positioning within the centre of Leeds. It is within easy walking distance of the shops, bars and train station. This was one of the ... ...know Leeds too well, therefore, it is always nice to be close to the amenities and transport links. *First impressions & check in* When entering the hotel, the elegance and style of the hotel are immediately apparent. The staff are friendly, welcoming and very eager to help. The decor is classic and premium and the furnishings are very comfortable. The reception desk is on the ground level , next to the Oak sweeping staircase and underneath the large ...

Our stay in Leeds
Advantages: Clean and comfortable Disadvantages: None for us
42 The Calls Leeds
When we visited Leeds a few weeks ago, we decided we wanted a hotel close to the city centre which would be comfortable and a general search found us booking this one.
**Getting there...**
Address: 42 the Calls LS2 7EW Leeds It’s always tricky finding somewhere in a new city, so we entered the post code into the sat nav and off we went. The only tricky bit was when we got to the centre, where there are one way streets, but this ... ...it became obvious that it was very close to the centre although in a really quiet area right next to the river, so we parked the car in a parking bay next to the hotel and went to check in. It’s worth noting here that the parking bays are free after 6pm and free all day on a Sunday so although the hotel does get reduced rates for the nearby car parks, if you are there on a Saturday night, it’s worth making use of the parking bays.
**First Impressions...**

Central but don't park
Advantages: very central, friendly, great for shopping Disadvantages: Cost a fortune to park
...went to stay at the Marriott for a weekend away with my boyfriend last year. I had read that the hotel was central but was still surprised when we arrived to see just how close it is to the city centre. It's fantastic! I can't even say it was five minutes from the shops or anything, because it was more like one minute, if that.
The hotel itself is in Trevelyan Square, which is lovely and seems almost secluded, despite its central location. I was ... ...building when we arrived.
I was less impressed about the fact that the hotel had no car park. We had to drive round to a nearby pay and display, which although it was very close, perhaps two minutes walk away, would have cost us about £20 if we wanted to leave the car there for the weekend, which was certainly a disappointing addition to the cost. In the end we moved it to a free spot right on the outskirts of the city centre to avoid paying, though ...

The Relaxation Hotel
Advantages: Great Spa Treatments, Great offers on Breaks Disadvantages: Sloppy Service when busy and under pressure
...experience.
*~*~The Hotel*~*~
The Thorpe Park Hotel and Spa is a member of The Shire Hotels Group that are a collection of principally four-star properties that are conveniently located for both business and leisure close to the country's entire major network routes. Located to the east of Leeds, located just 10 minutes from the Motorway it is in a great location and is hidden away of the main road providing a rural retreat.
The hotel has an extremely ... ...vast car park with plenty of spaces that is complimentary for guests.
As you enter the hotel through two glass doors you are greeted by the Glass Atrium right in front where you can get yourself a refreshment or quick snack.
To the right is Reception which generally has two members of staff servicing the reception area throughout the day and evening.
The interior of the hotel is stylish and contemporary giving you a Mediterranean feel with fantastic ...

Good Hotel to Stay in City Center but...
Advantages: Close to City Center, Budget Hotel, Free Breakfast Disadvantages: No free internet, Not much Value for Money, Uncleanliness with some services
I booked this hotel for my stay in Leeds as I wanted to stay in the city center. I have been staying in various hotels, so I had some expectations from this one as well. When you want to choose any hotel, you have few criteria in mind. I would like to write on the criteria I had in my mind, so you can take this review as per your need. Quality of hotel service: It was satisfactory, not exceptional but not bad too. Condition or maintenance of the ... ...smell (like the one when the area is closed for long time), the breakfast sitting area was clean BUT, the cutlery was not clean. I had to wipe the spoons and forks I used. They clearly were not cleaned properly. Cleanliness of room: but the rooms were maintained alright. The bathrooms were clean, but you don't get to see posh bathrooms. Comfort of room: I did not like the beds (they were spring beds, and for me, they cause back pain). The TV was ...
