Many a year ago, I was always told that Legends was the place to be, the best club in Newcastle and such like.... And at the time, maybe it was, for me. I was about 16 at the time, and to me, it was an eye opener... dissapointingly though on a more recent visit, it seems to have lost it's charm. Now 5 years on aand having visited much bigger and "better" clubs all around the country it seems to be full of people like me but only 5 years younger...
The decore hasn't changed and the drinks are still reasonably priced, all in all if you'd like to go somewhere, small, with decent music, fair prices and friendly staff then its the place for you. In fact, if you've never been before it's worth being there at 11:00pm to see the walls retract and the place transform itself from bar to club.
Otherwise however, the dance floor is small, the people are mostly very young or very old, and the music's cheesy even when it's not.
Advantages: huge place, loads of potential Disadvantages: completely deserted!
...went to this other club -Pizza Whsitle I think it was which was far better and although much smaller than Legends had a good crowd in. Fortunately the night wasn't ruined but it was just a shame we experienced such a promising place on such a bad night... ...

Legends is by far the best club with foundation coming close. The prices £2 a bottle and £1.50 an aftershock you cannot go wrong. Admission is normally £2-3 with a flyer and you get your first drink free.
Ive never seen any trouble and the staff are really friendly. More importanly the ladies are there in their dozens, if you canot pull in legends there are some major issues. So people that rant on about baja (cheese), cuba ...
