Lego Land is in Windsor on the former grounds of Windsor Safari Park, there's parking & the park is well laid out. It’s approximately about £20, this includes rides & treats. Rest-rooms are near the entry & there’s two shops that sell Lego mugs T-shirts, hats, key rings, fridge magnets & Lego toys themselves. A train worked by pulleys (no driver), takes you to the park itself. There’s a cubicle for pushchairs & wheel chairs. You can also hire pushchairs. There’s a maze to try out; it’s made out of the kind of wooden fences the Saxons used to build on their farms years ago. In the heart of the maze is a tower which plays 15th Century music all day long, there’s also a waterfall which get you very wet; I had my umbrella with me as I’m not that daft! There’s also an enchanted wood with a woodpecker, who sounds more like a Tommy gun then a bird.
There’s two rides. First the Dragon ride, which is, like a kind of roller coaster. It doesn’t go upside down, but flies very quick over bumps & has some very sharp drops. Another ride, where you spin in a circle on water. Folks can push little pumps up & down, which start air bubbles under the water to make the water blast on the surface; to get you soaking wet mostly. There’s also a minute village made out of Lego. One shows Holland & there’s charming mills that turn all day. There’s also a train, & a canal with a working lock & lifting bridges. There’s a stunt show, with a fireman, a police officer, two criminals & fireworks. Liable to get splashed as well if you sit in the wrong place, as one family found out.
There’s two cafes’ with varied menu’s. One is in the shape of a castle with outdoor seating near a climbing tower. There’s also a pasta restaurant with outdoor seating, and ice-cream venues here & there; there’s a statue in the shape of a bird which says ‘hum’ all day long! Watch out for the damn wasps which try to pitch on your food.
The buildings plus the Control Tower of Heathrow Airport can be seen in the distance. Its £1 to work the telescopes on the stand’s to see them. Occasionally big airlines fly over, & there’s large signs telling how to get into aviation.
A regular link bus runs from Windsor Town Centre to LEGOLAND during park opening times. Catch the bus from outside the Parish Church or opposite the Theatre Royal every 30 minutes (15 minutes at peak times).

Advantages: Plenty of rides for the whole family to go on together/shoes+special events Disadvantages: You could end up spending a fortune on top of the entrance price
Advantages: Keeps the younger ones amused, easy to get to, has various themed events during the year, holds a large lego sale. Disadvantages: Expensive
