I rate Legoland as one of the worst places I have ever been to. Firstly the entrance fee is far too expensive; we paid nearly £90 for two adults and a 10 year old! We thought this would be justified when we got in but no it wasn't, in fact it was an extortionate waste of time and money. I went with my boyfriend and his daughter, and we ended up wishing we had taken her to Madurodam in The Netherlands instead.
For entertainment value for children Legoland loses everytime, purely because the queues are far too long even at a supposedly quiet time and when they do get on the rides they are bored within a jiffy. The only one she enjoyed was the trampoline with the bungee ropes and that was it. I was so bored that ended up checking my e-mails on the way round on my mobile internet connection.
The food is absolutely disgusting there. If you are health or budget conscious then take your own. I found the food laced with fat and when the staff didn't even know what was in half the food when I made an enquiry. I did complain about this when there as some of us cannot eat certain things unless we want to wind up in hospital.
We also found a lot of the staff to be very ignorant and rude. The toilet facilities are clearly not checked up on or cleaned very often, they were absolutely filthy.
Plus if you don't drive then Legoland is hard to get to.
The things made of lego were good but limited in quantity.

Good review. I used to work for Legoland when I was at school. It is very exspensive to get in, food and souveners. All the staff were and still are ignorant and dont care about making the time for the kids fun! I totally agree with your review!!

Went to the original in Denmark about 25 years ago and thought it was very good.
I wondered if it would survive the 'f*** up' factor when it came to Britain.
Thanks for the review

Advantages: Best UK themepark for kids under 10, enduring appeal of Lego Disadvantages: Queues for rides without entertainment, expensive and unhealthy food, drink and extras

Review of Legoland Windsor
Advantages: Many different attractions which include unique sculptures made from LEGO Disadvantages: A day is not really enough to explore the whole park.

Review of Legoland Windsor
Advantages: Plenty of rides for the whole family to go on together/shoes+special events Disadvantages: You could end up spending a fortune on top of the entrance price
