**Introduction**
Eric Clapton is widely regarded as one of the best guitarists of all time with decades of musical success. Over the years he has played with some of the biggest musicians around and recorded hundreds of songs in several different styles. Although he has always had the guitar talent his vocals have improved and ever since the late eighties he has had a fine voice in my opinion.
Pilgrim marks a new direction in Eric Clapton's music with a more modern feel but still keeping that sensational guitar talent that we have come to expect from him over all styles. He experiments with new sounds and drum machines on this album but it is still unmistakably Eric Clapton.

Advantages: A book full of surprises! Disadvantages: it has an end...
A man that cannot die may seem a very awkward theme for a book, but that ends up being the less important thing when you start to see, page after page, that rather than an immortal, this man is just a soul that wonders in the pain of living. Pilgrim is a man with no more interest in that amazing gift, immortality, and that's just the first thing holding you to this book.
Closed in his silent reclusion in a mental clinic in Switzerland (after another failed suicide attempt), Pilgrim gets to be treated by Carl Jung, and failure after failure, we start to slowly dive in this man past livings, through the most amazing and disturbing ages. Da Vinci, Oscar Wilde and Teresa of Ávila are just some of the great personalities he crossed with in a thrilling, sometimes dark, story.
The conflict between those who see him as mental ill person ...
