Leipzig is at home and abroad known well as town of the oldest German sample fair and till 1989 turntable of the east west trade particularly with business people of the older generation. When I was there, I understood that Leipzig was the centre of the start of the counter revolution leading to the end of the DDR. Should you not mention this.

It's very interesting for me to read a review of a german author but I'm sorry, but I can't rate this review. It's sometimes very difficult to understand what you mean and it sounds a little bit like translated with a translation machine. You should also translate the following sentence: "Leipzig spielte mit Luther, von Karlstadt und Johann Eck eine bedeutende Rolle in der Reformation und Weltgeschichte wurde mit der Völkerschlacht und den Sieg der Verbündeten über Napoleon geschrieben, das Denkmal dafür sollte man bei einem Besuch der Stadt unbedingt ansehen.". For me, a swiss guy it's no problem to understand this, but think also about the English native speakers :). I know, my English is also capable of improvement (Verbesserungsfähig?) and so I'm possibly not the best person for give you this criticism but I think it's better, if I say what I think...
