Advantages: terra miticca, shopping, sunand great nightlife Disadvantages: beaches fill up too fast
...I went to Benidorm three years ago and absolutely loved it,there are activities for everyone, such as Terra Miticca about 20-30 minutes away, lots of shopping opportunities if your a shop aholic like me,two great beaches Poniente and Levante and the nightlife is amazing in the new town with its fun pubs,Cabaret bars and great English pubs, but if you want clubbing head to the square with clubs such as the Beachcomber,Champions and Jokers you will have a great night out. Also if the lemonexpress is still running i heard that it is you should definitely try it,it is an old steam train which takes you to different destinations and then on the way back to Benidorm it turns into a party train serving you champagne. We also went to see Sticky Vicky not to everyones taste but she is worth going to see,she can do some amazing things with a light...

Advantages: A good all round holiday destination. Lovely places nearby and excellent climate. Disadvantages: Has a bad reputation with some people. I'm NOT there now and it isn't fair!
.... The village of Guadalest is lovely too and has some little shops and beauty spots of its own. It's pretty hilly though, so be prepared for a steep walk!
LemonExpress~~~
This is a “must do” thing in Benidorm! It’s as essential as seeing Sticky Vicky (just ask anyone who’s been” ~ erotic entertainer is all I'm revealing!). You travel on an old train on a five-hour journey through Benidorm, Altea, Rock the Ifach and Teulada and other places you might not normally get to see. The train stops in Gata de Gorgos where passengers visit a guitar factory. The fun starts on your return journey, where you are bathed in sparkling white wine…you do get to drink some too! I would certainly advise you to book this trip if you can; it’s well worth the money and I laughed until I felt ill!
There’s a load more to see…I hope this has whetted your appetite...

...attached to it, coconut ice cream in a coconut shell, pineapple ice cream in a pineapple shell, a yummy lemon meringue pie and cakes etc. Yummmmmmmmy
If you like freshly squeezed fruit juice, then Benidorm sells loads of these, freshly squeezed right in front of your eyes. Every flavour from orange to carrot.
If that isn’t enough for you, then why not visit one of these following places:
Mundomar:
Paul and I went to Mundomar 3 times during our last holiday. It is only a 5 minute taxi drive from the centre of Benidorm. It is lovely there. It is a marine animal Park. There are many animals such as Prairie Dogs, Penguins, Bats, Dolphins, Rabbits, Parrots, Birds, Lizards, Sea lions, little Monkeys, Turtles, Flamingos and Tortoises. I hope I haven’t missed any out. There are 2 dolphin shows, 2 parrot shows and 2 sea lion shows a day. So...
