Ronil Beach Resort - Baga Beach, my experience

Advantages: Good setting on Baga Rd, close proximity to bars and restaurants
Disadvantages: Could be noisy at the front of the hotel

After exploring the resort, I would say that the The Ronil Beach Resort appeared to be one of the better hotels in Baga, although the decor in the rooms is tired and the bathrooms need re-furbishing, this is the only downside - there is room service, laundry service and fresh towels daily. Most important of all it is CLEAN. The staff are brilliant, always smiling, polite and very hard working. Our room was in one of the two storey blocks beside the main pool area, which was a sanctuary. In the rooms closer to the front of the hotel, the traffic noise from the busy and sometimes chaotic road would have been unbearable. The air con is FREE and can be left switched on even when you are out. We travelled in April/May when the heat can be relentless, even at night, so this was a big benefit. Voyager Beach Resort

Advantages: friendly people, rooms, pools, public areas very well looked after, different themes everyday
Disadvantages: food variation... but what was out was tasty!

. Unfortunately as stunning as the beach was, it was filled with beach sellers everyday so no sunbeds or relaxing down there! The complex also had a group of monkeys running around which were so funny and were great fun to watch... just make sure you close your balcony door when you go out!!! Animation were very good, all different activites throughout the day although did leave you alone if you wernt interested. However if you take part you will get colored beads that you can swap in the gift shop, which is probably one of the cheapest hotels gift shops i have stayed in! Evening entertainment was not too great, even the caribbean do it better, they do try, but we gave up by the 3nd night and chilled out in the bar. THE LEMON TREE - RHOSDDU, WREXHAM

Advantages: CLOSE TO CENTRE OF TOWN - EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY
Disadvantages: AMPLE PARKING

After visiting family in the area I noticed an a restuarant/hotel called The Lemon Tree on the corner of Rhosddu Road by the roundabout 5 minutes walk from Wrexham town centre so decided to treat the special lady in my life to a meal and a overnight stay in the hotel. I'd recently noticed that it was a hotel after reading a leaflet in a shop in the town centre which informed me it was an Italian restaurant with 14 bedrooms. Anyway the time came for me & my guest to go out for dinner to The Lemon Tree anyway it was a Thursday night and I arrived into the small ample carpark around 8pm and it was pretty easy to park although there was one or two cars to look out for.
