Leonardo Hotel, Nuremberg

Advantages: Great value for 5* hotel, very modern, clean
Disadvantages: Air-con was broken down..

...* hotel offers a luxurious stay and with its own specially-designed luxury boat. It has got 7 floors. It is located between the verdant Tiergarten and the scenic canal. Facing the Tiergarten Park (one of the largest city parks in the world). This is a newly-renovated luxury hotel sits in the heart of downtown. It’s a short walk from the hotel to the landmarks such as the Siegessaule (Victory Column) and Brandenburg Gate. It was an enjoyable walk through the park. The hotel is about 10 minutes from the central train station. It is perfect central base for exploring the many facets of Berlin. When we arrived at the hotel (26thMay), we realised that it was the DFB Pokal final match for Stuggart and Nuremberg. The Stuggart team stayed at our hotel for the night. Advantages: Clean, close to transportation

...When we decided to go to Rome we looked into booking plane tickets and hotel separately. Eventually, the combination of time constrictions and budget, led to us buying a package deal from Expedia - plane tickets and hotel. We bought a deal that took us from London to Rome flying Alitalia and 5 nights at the Bettoja Hotel Nord Nuova Roma for 720 £ (about 1300$), excluding breakfast. As usual, it was not easy to decide which hotel to choose. We did some homework and most reviews indicated that the Termini area was "highly undersirable". The decision to stay in the area was influenced by price and the fact that there were renowned 4-5 star hotels in the same vicinity - how "undersirable" could the area really be then? Advantages: Nice rooms, good breakfast with excellent coffee

...I was thrilled when I got the message that we would be going on a company trip to Rome. Since I had been there before I got the task of finding a hotel. Finding a hotel for 24 people in central Rome in October turned out to be quite a difficult task. Many of the centrally located hotels are smaller and many were fully booked. In the end we decided to stay at Express By Holiday Inn San Giovanni located at Via Assisi 53. We had to pay 125 € per room. Arriving in Rome We landed in Rome at about 11 am in the morning of October 21st. We walked over to the train station at Leonardo da Vinci airport also known as Fiumicino (FCO). From here you can take the Leonardo Express to Termini but since the hotel is located on the way we decided to go for a local train direction Orte-Fara Sabina for 5 € and after about 30-40 we reached the train...
